Update on Dan & more

Well there's not a whole lot to report. Just thought I would let everyone know the progress we have made.

Remember the 'stupid doc' I was referring to in my previous post? Well he ordered a CT for Dan's chest/back. That's nowhere near his neck, which is where the Eagle Syndrome (ES) is. We still don't know what prompted the CT or what he saw on the xray he ordered separate from the original issue we were seeing him for. He had the CT done yesterday. His follow up to go over the CT is Wednesday, 3 June.

I'm a little nervous as to what it's all about but the optimist in me thinks it's all just a precaution. We'll know more on Wednesday. :)

He finally received a call from the ENT referral. So I guess the doc figured out what kind of specialist Dan needs for the ES. :) His appointment for that is 19 June.

I keep teasing Dan about being an old man now but it's truly hard to watch him fall apart. He's always been the healthy and physically capable one. Don't get me wrong, he's still plenty capable but it's not the same. It's not easy watching him suffer in pain. Now I know what he's had to deal with all these years watching me suffer. :(

On a side note, this week has been pretty busy with preparing the kids for camp. I cannot believe all the paperwork involved. LOL They are due to leave next weekend. It's only a week long but that's the longest they've been away from home. It's bittersweet, as I'm sure all parents can understand. :)

When I haven't been busy with; paperwork, cleaning, cooking, and social gatherings, I had my face buried in the Twilight series books. I am over half way done with the 3rd book. I've got the 4th, and final book, ready and waiting. :)
